Founded in 1897, Kappa Delta is a national sorority that strives for that which is honorable, beautiful and highest. Kappa Delta is home to nearly 200,000 members nationwide, contributing constantly to the perpetuation of true friendship. We are dedicated to inspiring confidence in women and making great things happen in their lives every day. Kappa Delta provides women with a wide variety of opportunities for leadership, personal development, academic success, and community service.
The University Of Cincinnati is home to the Omega Xi Chapter of Kappa Delta. Currently housing 34 outstanding women in our home, we are proud winners of the Panhellenic 2012 Sisterhood Award. We have a representation of girls from every college within the University. Our members displayed their love for our Philanthropies by raising $7,000 for Prevent Child Abuse America with our 2012 Shamrock event. Kappa Delta won the Panhellenic PanHealthy award for our dedication to promoting health and wellness. Our sisters placed third in the Greek Week events and moral in the Cincinnati Dance Marathon for 2012. Our love for our sisterhood and striving to improve ourselves shines through in all that we do.
